News about my upcoming painting workshop in France and the next instalment of 'Dark Red Roses'

Dear Subscribers,

In addition to part 5 of alla prima of Dark Red Roses, I wanted to let you know about my upcoming workshop in the south of France in May: Alla prima oil inside and out: floral painting from life. There are still a couple places left if you are interested in joining me.

I will be giving tuition in the alla prima method in oil, suitable for those who are comfortable with oil painting but also for those with more experience. This is a painting holiday consists of approximately 25 hours of painting tuition (5 hours per day) plus excursions organised by the host. Students will get plenty of individual quality tuition with a maximum of 10 in the group.

Teaching sessions take place in the large studio, or on the covered terrace which doubles as an outdoor studio depending on the weather. The spacious studio is well equipped. Students only need to bring their own supports and brushes.

There will be opportunity to work ‘en plein air’ either in the garden at La Salle, in the lanes nearby or in our local village, St Puy with its beautiful old stone buildings, Chateau, Church and open views out towards the mountain range of the Pyrenees.

If you want to find out more please contact the host directly at: www.palettesdegascogne.co.uk

Part 1 of Dark Red Roses is free to watch for all subscribers and can be seen by opening the link below:

For subsequent videos, paying subscribers will have exclusive access for a very modest subscription fee.
