Love the lesson on Wanna be Perfect. Next, I will be more forgiving of myself, be looser, and leave it. Simple and no worry. Thanks for great lesson Alex.
Thanks, Juli. It’s a tricky one to manage, I think. I’m not suggesting abandoning high standards—as I realise it could come across that way—but rather recognising when you’re entering that zone of endlessly tweaking things. That may mean keep things looser but it could also mean painting 'tightly' if thats the way you want to paint.
Thanks for clarifying. Yes, it's a tricky zone, where an artist is trapped just to destroy a good painting. I read in Richard Schmid's book, he wrote that an artist only stops painting when there is no more to correct. Yaik!
Aaah thank you for listening -- to both shows! Your work is beautiful. <3
Thank you Sarah!

Thanks for finding this video and posting it. I’m exhausted from my trip home, but I can’t wait to watch it!!!
You’re welcome Marion. There is sure to be others I can share hidden away.
Congrats Master Alex Kelly. Another sweet painting to treasure. Wow!
Thank you Juli
